Adventureland

Indiana Jones Adventure E-ticket – Rumoured
Expected: 2024
This might be THE most anticipated ride of Disneyland Paris in all its history. Going back to the early days it has been rumoured this ride would be heading to an designated expansion spot at the back of Adventureland. There are even maps of this ride circulating on the internet. There also is still a parkmap at City Hall with this ‘future expansion’ on it. The expansion area is still available. Just behind the coaster Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril.

Ever since the rumours on this ride started in the early days it popped up quite a few times. It is said it has almost been approved towards the 25th anniversary with a 2.0 version of the ride. As it is still one of the most popular rides in Disneyland Anaheim and Tokyo Disneyland it isn’t a strange thought this unique ride would finally be coming to Disneyland Park. However, it might not be just a copy. It is rumoured it would share its budget with Walt Disney World.

There is even concept art where you can see the Enhanced Moving Vehicle (EMV) ride, the Jungle Cruise, Disneyland Railroad and a mine train style rollercoaster. Due to budget cuts this has never been fully realized in Disneyland Anaheim. Disneyland Anaheim and Tokyo Disneyland received the EMV rides, while Disneyland Park received the mine train rollercoaster; Indiana Jones et le Temple du Péril. This was supposed to be a temporarily infill ride due to the capacity problems of the park in the early years. In fact; Disneyland Park originally was said to get two mine train rollercoasters.

It has been rumoured the popular temple is to be extended through the new adventure temple, which would bring this miniland quite to the original concept.
